Doc’s last minute gift guide

Phone accessories:

Phone apps. (I have ATT, so there you go). Most of the phone companies have printable gift certificates from their websites.
My favorite so far: GPS/Navigation. The ATT version works better than my Tom Tom. I’m loving it.

A bluetooth. Everyone needs to be handsfree in the car. Better yet, turn it off, but if you can’t. then get a wireless device. If you live in Oregon, the law changes on January 1 to require that you are able to put BOTH hands on the wheel at all times.

Grandma and Grandpa:

I have a lot of seniors I am giving gifts to. I made up several baskets, because honestly, few seniors need more “stuff” but experience has shown me what they like. Lots of sugarless treats, nuts - especially small cans of cashews, single serve pop corn bags, baked snacks like goldfish, puzzle books, magnifying glass, dice, UNO decks, jams and jellies, note pads, gel pens, handcream, flashlights, and socks with grip soles.

The hard to buy for:

Shit.

Actually, this charity is my favorite. Gets less press than Heifer International, but has more options and lower overhead (more money goes to help).

Have a good holiday!

Second the bluetooth suggestion. It’s already illegal to drive and use a handheld device here. Bluetooth saves my life and lets me still get some business done on those long drives.
